The fresh pack is Non-toxic. This is a silica gel moisture absorber. It is food and pharmaceutical grade and approved by the FDA. The packs state CONTAINS A HARMLESS ABSORBENT. My dog just was gifted with a bag of treats, Icelandic capelin. Do you check for mercury levels?

Capelin is a small fish that reaches 2 years of age when fished. Mercury can only be measured in fish that reach old age like Halibut and Orange Roughy , Some Tuna species and fish that accumulate mercury over 100 years.

Capelin feeds from Zooplankton and Copepods feed from Zooplankton . So basically this fish is a vegetarian.

Mercury levels in Capelin are not generally measured because of the above facts.

yummy soup

as an old vet just barely getting buy - I have found that adding a few of these to the bits of dehydrated veggies I get from the aging partners place really spruces up the over all taste - and make for right delicious soup - I got the recipe from a chef in Paris - who uses the same ingredients - I think - he might have said "fresh salmon" but my memory has glitches' - any way I have no complaints and a simple bowl of this tasty soup each day keeps me going - and I do let the dog have any that I am unable to eat since I have that eating disorder when my stomach shrunk down and now I feel full with a slice of pussy on toast.

My dogs really enjoyed the whole Capelin. It was a unique experience and taste for them. I will be ordering again.

Terrible smell and feel

I have fed my pets Capelin for years so was looking to buy in bulk. This was terrible! It smelled up the whole house and was slimy! I had to put them in the garage because the smell was so bad! I let the company know and was pretty much told it is a "me" problem. I am out $70 but hey, at least the shelter dogs enjoyed it!
